The Company Hosted a Seminar on Carbon Emission Management in the Lithium-Ion Battery Industry and a Kick-Off Meeting for Four Group Standards, Including “Carbon Management Guidelines for Lithium-Ion Battery Cathode Material Enterprises”.

On April 11, four group standards, including “Carbon Management Guidelines for Cathode Material Enterprises of Lithium-ion Battery”, “Technical Specification for the Production of Anode Materials of Lithium-ion Battery”, “Carbon Footprint Evaluation Guidelines for Ternary Lithium-ion Battery Products” and “Carbon Management Guidelines for Battery Manufacturing Enterprises”, were successfully held in Shiyan, Hubei Province, by the Standardization Committee of the China Association for the Promotion of International Economic and Technological Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as the “CAPIC Standard Committee”). Carbon Management Guidelines for Manufacturing Enterprises”, ‘Battery Manufacturing Enterprises Carbon Management Guidelines’ and other 4 group standards kick-off meeting was successfully held in Shiyan, Hubei Province. Wang Xianfeng, Secretary General of NCPC Standard Committee, and Liu Jun, Director of Science and Technology Bureau of Shiyan City, attended the meeting, and more than 30 representatives of excellent enterprises in new energy industry participated in the meeting.

First of all, Mr. Cao Minglei, the technical expert of the company, introduced the development history, products, technologies and achievements of the company. Wu Songkai, head of the dual-carbon research department of the company's research institute, introduced the current situation of the industry and enterprise development, and shared the company's achievements in carbon emission management and product carbon footprint.

Immediately after that, Wang Xianfeng, Secretary General of NCPC Standard Committee, summarized the discussion of the standard, saying that the four group standards, such as “Carbon Management Guidelines for Cathode Material Enterprises of Lithium-ion Batteries”, are based on the industry's existing relevant technical indicators and requirements, and based on the principle of comprehensiveness and systematicity, establishing a standard system of lithium-ion battery industry's carbon management in line with the needs of China's industrial development, and filling the gap of the standards in this field. It is of great significance to promote the development of lithium battery technology innovation and low-carbon development.

After the meeting, the delegates visited the production base of lithium battery Cathode materials in Shiyan area of the company, and the expert group highly evaluated the technological innovation ability and process level of our company.
